Spyword is a free hobby project by m07 from Switzerland. No ads, no tracking, no accounts.

What we store

To run a room for everyone at the table we store the name you type, your character look and your moves in the game (for example words, votes and points). We use this only to run the game.

Cookies and storage

One technically necessary cookie (codenames_sid) remembers which player you are, so a reload keeps you in your room. Your language and character are saved in your browser's local storage. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies.

Hosting

The game runs on Vercel with a managed Postgres database. Like any web server, our host processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page. They act on our behalf only.

Your rights

You can ask what we store about you and have it corrected or deleted. Write to support@m07.dev.
